I loved the food and the blonde lady waitress was a absolute beauty and on top of her game

A classic hole in the wall (in a good way) grill serving soda shop food to a loyal local following. Hamburger was cooked perfectly and tasted good, hotdog all the way (toppings perfect) was excellent, and fries were fine. Service was outstanding—very nice, helpful server who checked on me regularly. Price was about right. But a warning: if you are a snowflake of the environmentalist or anti-gun ilk, prepare to have your delicate sensitivities assaulted, for they use a lot of paper—your food will arrive wrapped in it—and the establishment is heavily decorated with pro-gun trappings (see photos). That said, definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

This soda shop is a historical sight. It has been here forever, and is still just as great as it always has been. If you haven't been, you're doing yourself a disservice.

First time going here. I got a hot dog and frys it was good. The hot dogs have more chili than slaw, but that is a preference. So next time I'll let them know lite on chili and more cloe slaw. But it was good. There was a guy who said he had been going there for years and the hamburger was the best in town. So I'll be back to try it.

Wow, it has been many years since I have eaten at this local establishment. If you want a good hot dog and cold tea or soda then this is a place to visit. The fries are hot and if you like homemade chips they offer these as well. Archdale, NC - come visit.

Archdale Soda Shop is a great place to eat I don't know about anyone else. But to me they have the best hot dogs around and at a great price. I would highly recommend that you give them a try. A small place but been around for a long time.

Without a doubt one of the best little gems in Archdale. With inexpensive, delicious food, good atmosphere and a stellar, kind and helpful staff, you can't miss. They have a kicking Philly cheese steak too, and my hometown pride is glowing with happiness. Well done! I highly recommend giving them a visit.

Best hotdogs and service around

Just moved to the area not too long ago, and I absolutely loveeee hot dogs so I've had a few people recommend this place to me so I decided to try today and OMG I'm not disappointed in the slightest! The hot dogs and the fried pickles are out of this world. Definitely my new hot dog joint!! 😍🤤🌭🌭

Enjoyed this eating place so much. We went to eat here after watching A Christmas Carol at the High Point Theatre. The food was excellent and our server, she was great! Highly recommend this place!

Yes.This place continually exceeds all expectations of any restaurant on the east coast. Fine dining at its very best. 5 total stars.

Still decent hotdogs. But far from what it was even 2 or 3 years ago. Ive been coming here since the late 70s. Came here almost everyday for lunch during high school and that was 30 plus years ago. For almost 3 decades it remained on spot. Now it's just something g different with the hot dog chili and fries. I eat here a few times a year just to see if it's came back. Guess I'll drop in every now and then to see. I think when I went to high achool eating here it was 1.75 for 2 dogs fry and drink. And think I remember it being 1.25 as a young kid. By all means try it.

A local owned and operated business for over 3 generations, founded in 1948. They tell me they sell over 1000 hot Dogs a day here with a total of 10 million since they opened. It was getting busy fast when we showed up at 11:30AM and full by the time we left. I have to say the Hotdogs were great and the service as well. Reminded me of the local owned places we my Dad use to take me as a kid. Stop by if you are in town and check it out!
